The Board of Directors of The Australian Community, in accordance with its By-Laws, Policies, and in keeping with maintaining its status as a 501(c)(3) Public Charity, may provide Grants to organizations conducting charitable works at times of Natural Disasters.

Those established, registered and well recognized organizations must provide aid and relief in preparation for, in prevention of, during and following times of natural disasters. Such natural disasters shall include, but are not limited to hurricanes, cyclones, floods, fires, drought, earthquakes and threats to the survival of human life or flora or fauna.

A Grantee may be initially eligible for Grants up to $US100,000.00 each.

Eligible organizations who receive Grants, must accept the following Terms and Conditions to be considered for Grants:

  • The Grant may only be used for direct aid and relief in preparation for, in prevention of, during and following times of natural disasters (Disaster Relief).
  • No part of the Grant may be used for administrative costs, marketing and advertising expenses, funding events, influencing legislation, or illegal activities.
  • A Semi Annual Grant Use Report must be submitted with supporting evidence including an expenditure report and photographs, highlighting the positive impact the Grant has made to Disaster Relief.
  • Failure to meet the Terms and Conditions of the Grant will render the organization ineligible for future Grants.
