G’Day!

I hope your week is going well.

We are very pleased to announce two Zoom previews of our feature documentary Ten Australians: Friday October 16 and Friday October 23 from 9:00PM Eastern U.S.

In the past, this day and time has worked well as it is 6:00PM West Coast and 12:00 Noon on Saturday on the East Coast of Australia, 9:00 AM in WA.

The preview will be followed by a 30-minute Q&A where you can ask questions and learn more about the making of this historic documentary.

Use the link below to visit our events page where you can select either of the two showings.

About Ten Australians – In Case You Missed the Memo

Ten Australians is an intimate, character driven feature documentary that explores the lives of Australians who left home to build new futures in New York. Through personal stories, candid reflections, and moments of quiet resilience, the film examines what it means to uproot oneself, to seek opportunity abroad, and to navigate the tension between belonging and reinvention.

Each participant offers a unique perspective on identity, migration, and the search for community in one of the world’s most demanding cities.

How We Are Bringing the Doc Online

Technology has advanced significantly since our early Zoom events during COVID. Our upgraded systems can broadcast the documentary in high resolution, and the results were excellent across phones, tablets, and larger screens.

With our 1,000 person Zoom license, capacity is not a concern. Virtual screenings allow us to bring the film to hundreds of people per viewing and expand its reach well beyond New York.

To support the film’s festival programs and broader visibility, we are asking for your support through a donation. We ask after viewing the documentary that you make a donation to support expanding the documentary’s reach.

Supporters who contribute $100 or more will be added to the list of “Mates of the Film” in the documentary’s credits. This recognition reflects the Spirit of Mateship that inspired the project.
